We had a wonderful day beginning in fog followed by glorious sunshine in Maine Valley on the 7 September hosting the J.B. O'Shea Memorial Trophy Competition. Castlegregory emerged victorious as winners with a great score of 84 beating Ring of Kerry who had a great score of 82. John O Shea, Grandson of J.B. O'Shea joined Kerry Captain Joe Kennedy on the podium to present the winning team with their Trophy, pennant and medals.

On Saturday 14 September Ballybunion hosted the 2nd and final leg of the final of the Kingdom Senior Shield against Killarney. Ballybunion led by three coming into this leg. A great match was played in tough conditions with Ballybunion emerging as Champions.
The Dr. Billy O'Sullivan Shield final took place at Maine Valley on Saturday the 14 September between Ring of Kerry and Castlegregory. Both teams endured strong winds with heavy rain at times, very tough conditions. Three matches went down the 19th with one going to the 20th hole to decide the match. Castlegregory emerged as victor from this titanic battle.
The final of the Nines of Kerry took place at Maine Valley on Saturday 14th September between Castlerosse and Ballyheigue. This was a great match going down to the final match played in very strong wind and heavy rain at times. Ballyheigue emerged victorious with a 3 to 2 win.
