The Kerry Golf Federation are the umbrella body of the County of Kerry Golf Clubs. All Kerry golf clubs are members of the federation and each contribute yearly to the federation to organise and run local competitions such as the Dr. Billy O Sullivan Shield, the JB O' Shea Memorial, the Kerry Junior League, the Nines of Kerry, the Kingdom Challenge Shield, the Kerry Shield and the Kerry Captains.
The Kerry Golf Federation was founded in 1968 and we are proud to say that 2024 marks our 56th year in existance. The federation was the brainchild of the late John B O' Shea of Killorglin. Every year a different County Kerry Golf Club hosts the federation. The host club are tasked with organising all federation competitions for the coming year while also hosting a number of the events at their club. In 2024 Maine Valley Golf Club are the federation hosts.

We run the Kerry Junior League aswell as the JB O Shea U14s and the John Molyneaux and Joe Quinlan Shields.
